Join us for the México Now Festival’s first official summer activation!

For the first time in the festival’s history, the México Now Festival will present a special free summer program as part of Summer for the City at Lincoln Center.

With Summer for the City’s focus on movement, contemporary artistry, and international voices, the México Now Festival will highlight artists across three generations of creators living in the United States. Through poetry, music, and performance on June 20, we will showcase artists whose works explore themes of migration, identity, and cultural exchange.

While the annual México Now Festival will return in Fall 2026, we invite you to experience the movement, creativity, and community that make our global city extraordinary during the summer!

More details about the June 20 performances:

La Casita will return with a program that builds on its 25+ year history celebrating the vitality of artistic communities and oral traditions across New York City’s five boroughs. The México Now Festival will present queer Black Mexican American poet Irene Vázquez, alongside norteño music and dance from Queens-based Suspenso del Norte.
